6 Ways A Caregiver Can Care For Themselves Read More
The AgeWell Atlanta Neighborhood Program (formerly NORC) is designed to help older adults to remain in their own homes and improve their quality of life by reducing social isolation, connection with community resources and helping to ensure their environment is a safe as possible.
Services are available in Roswell, Toco Hills, Dunwoody, East Cobb, and other neighborhoods.
“I lived in Toco Hills for over 45 years. But I never knew there was so much for seniors here. (Through AgeWell Atlanta Neighborhoods) we’ve gone on field trips around the neighborhood and I’ve learned a lot. I’ve met new people too.”
SENIOR DAYS
Four times a year, AgeWell Atlanta celebrates older adults with a “Senior Day” event. The program is a coordinated effort of the Marcus JCC of Atlanta, Jewish Homelife and JF&CS’s Aviv Older Adult Services. Whether it’s cooking classes or pickleball, virtual or in-person, Senior Days are a great way for active seniors to have a good time and be together as a community.
